March 2018: Important information update
We have made some changes to Select & Protect Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance, which affects all policies underwritten by Aviva Insurance Limited and Cigna Insurance Services.

Policies underwritten by Aviva Insurance
From 12th December 2017 Lloyd’s Syndicate 4444, which is managed by Canopius Managing Agents Limited, will be the underwriter. Davies Managed Systems will take over from Aviva as the claims handlers for these policies.

Policies underwritten by Cigna Insurance Services
From 18th June 2018 Lloyd’s Syndicate 4444, which is managed by Canopius Managing Agents Limited, will be the underwriter. Davies Managed Systems will take over from Cigna as the claims handlers for these policies.

You should have received a letter from us outlining the changes to your policy. You can also read the full terms and conditions in the Policy Wording and Policy Summary.

If you are currently in claim
If you are currently making a claim under your policy, it will continue to be dealt with by your existing underwriter (Aviva Insurance Limited or Cigna Insurance Services). Please be assured that any benefit you are due will be unaffected by the changes.

Making a new claim
If you make a new claim after Canopius have taken over as the underwriter for your policy, please follow the steps set out in your new insurance policy document.
